23 Jan - Hungry Jacks, Cannington

Used the entertainment book voucher to get 2 Whoppers. These were the best ones I've had in awhile. Fresh ingredients, Lots of salad and onion. Better than the slop I've had at other HJs.

Hokkien Noodles

I'm a bit scared of rice noodles at the moment, so opted to fry some hokkien noodles instead.

These were actually quite good. Slightly charred and smokey as i fried them first and not as brittle as rice noodles.

2 Jan - Madhatters on Milston, Henley Brook

This burger was quite tasty after I sliced the pickle and put it into the burger. I ended up with a landslide though and had troubles eating it as it was too fat to get my jaw around (one of my pet peeves about wanky burgers).

30 Dec - Mia Cucina, Hillarys

A $15 steak sandwich lunch special. Since I'm not working over the Christmas period due to forced shutdown at work, I had lunch with my family instead.

The chips were shoestring, well seasoned and crunchy. The steak sandwich was tasty enough, although fell apart a bit. The steak was thin, as you'd expect from a $15 plate of food. With a drink, it's about the same as a Nandos burger meal.

19 Dec - Mash Brewery, Rockingham

This steak sandwich, although messy to eat, was actually pretty tasty. My only gripe was that the steak didn't cover the bread entirely. But it was tender and full of flavour. Chips were decent too.

29 Nov - Rumours Restaurant, Tuart Hill

CB and I shared a couple of entrees and dessert and I ended up having chicken caesar salad again.

The whipped feta dip and buffalo wing entrees were good value. The flat breads were a little oily as they were fried to crispen up. The buffalo wings were crispy and sour.

The caesar salad was similar to Padbury's, although there was a bigger serving and the dressing had more zing from the anchovy. It was more expensive though.

28 Nov - Padbury's, Guildford

A light chicken caesar salad and iced coffee which was welcomed as it wasn't Chinese food.
