25 Feb - Alfred's Kitchen, Guildford

On Saturday, CB and I moved the fids over to my folks place where my dad will take care of them whilst we're on holiday. In the evening, we went back over so they could have some out of cage and play time.

Afterwards, CB went out and bought dinner. I had a hamburger with egg, cheese and, bacon. It also included lettuce, tomato, sauce and onion. With a side of chips, it totaled $15.30 and was very filling. The chips were cooked perfectly and the burger was good, just missing some smokey flame grilled goodness.

18 Feb - Joe's Oriental Diner, Hyatt Perth

My sister Ange had her birthday in the city this year. All in all, an expensive meal with a few service issues. CB and I shared an entree platter, which they forgot (only made 3 for the table instead of 4). It wasn't worth the $20 price. We also shared a seafood "claypot" dish, along with some steamed fish and some rice. It wasn't bad, the claypot was heavy on garlic and the fish was exxy for only half (filleted though, mind you).

Afterwards, a group of us went to McDonalds in Morley for some icecream. I originally wanted a strawberry sundae, but they had no strawberry or chocolate toppings. Epic Fail. I ended up with a 50c cone instead.

12 Feb - Jaws Hay St Mall, Perth

With under a month to go before departing on our 2012 trip, it was time for lunch and duty free "shopping". I hadn't been to Jaws in ages (2009 according to my last blog entry) and it hadn't changed much, except for pricing.

I opted for 5 plates in total, with two plates of cheap chicken sushi, two plates of karaage and one plate of unagi.
