10 Dec - Gosnells Railway Market, Gosnells

A roast pork lunch with rice. The pork was crisp and was a decent serve. The rice was a little weird as it wasn't plain. The tomato served on the side was also strange.

9 Dec - The Quarie, Hammond Park

Crispy skinned barramundi and fried ice cream at a work thing. The fish skin was as advertised.

3 Dec - Mille Cafe, Inglewood

Dinner on Saturday was a garlic bread as a starter and chicken caesar for main. The salad was well dressed and had a decent amount of chicken and bacon.

1 Dec - McDonalds, Dubai Airport

I decided to try their signature range mushroom burger. It didn't look like the picture and it wasn't the best tasting. But it was more appealing than economy plane food.

30 Nov - Emirates Business Class

CB and I managed to get an upgrade to business class on the first leg home. The food was fancier than economy but the main benefit was the room and the ability to lay almost flat. The 12 hours went pretty quickly.

30 Nov - Burger King, Logan Airport MA

A small breakfast consisting of a Whopper Junior, small chips and coffee. The coffee was awful.

29 Nov - Pacific Asian Cuisine, Woonsocket RI

An American Chinese meal at the local Chinese establishment. Some unique dishes included the Pu Pu Platter, General Tso chicken and the Pacific tofu. The food was generally tasty albeit some were quite sweet towards the end of the meal.

29 Nov - The Beef Barn, Bellingham MA

A roast beef roll special which included salad and fries. The roast beef was thinly shaven, soft and moist. The roll was slightly buttery.

The salad was nicely dressed and the fries were quite good. All washed down with a coffee shake.

28 Nov - Gator's Pub, North Smithfield RI

18 wings of medium, spicy and nuclear buffalo wings along with fries, clam cakes and stuffed mushrooms.

The buffalo wings are too sour for me but they were nice, crisp and moist. The fries were good and the mushrooms were quite tasty.

The clam cakes were mostly fried bready dough and were quite bland.

27 Nov - Brother's Pizza, Clinton MA

Lunch yesterday was a "Brother's special" roll. The roll was lightly toasted and crunchy with an assortment of meat, bacon and salad with mayo. Really hit the spot.

26 Nov - Chili's, Bellingham MA

CB and I shared the creamy jalapeƱo chicken wings which we've had previously had in Washington DC earlier in the year.

For mains, I went for the burger which had an egg, bacon and salad. It hit the spot and I ended up having half a rack of ribs from mum's full rack which tipped me over the edge for dessert.

26 Nov - The Pier Restaurant, Newport RI

Lunch was a lobster roll in Newport Rhode Island after a walk through the Breakers mansion.

I should've had the cold version with mayonnaise but opted for the warm version with butter. It was OK but I think the mayo version would be tastier.

24 Nov - Thanksgiving Dinner

As the saying goes, when in Rome...

22 Nov - Moe's Southwest Grill, Bellingham MA

Lunch today was a steak burrito with rice, beans, mushroom, onion and other bits and bobs. It really hit the spot with the included corn chips.

22 Nov - Five Guys, Groton CT

I grabbed a cheeseburger with the lot (ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomato, grilled onion and grilled mushroom) and shared the chips and drink with CB. The burger was good, with gooey melty American cheese. The fries were average and it seemed like the oil was old.

18 Nov - The Cheesecake Factory, Natick Mall MA

A lunch special fish and chips. The slaw was average but the fish and chips were decent enough. Not sure how much bigger the non lunch special would be though. This was more than enough.

17 Nov - River Falls Restaurant, Woonsocket RI

Dinner tonight consisted of 6 buffalo wings with a chicken caesar salad.

The wings were large and had decent tang and bite from the hot sauce.

The salad could've done with more dressing, and some bacon. But it was refreshing after the not so healthy recently eaten. Not that lettuce is nutritious by any means...

17 Nov - KFC, Milford MA

A $5 fill up meal of the thigh and drumstick in crispy coating. The chicken was like Hot and Spicy texture at home without the spice. The biscuit was warm and edible with the potato and gravy. The cookie was good and loaded with chocolate chips.

17 Nov - The Union Diner, Laconia NH

This 1950s themed diner was breakfast this morning. I had the #2 special, which was 1 egg over easy, bacon, home fries and French toast.

The egg was runny as expected, bacon crisp and the French toast was surprisingly not sweet. It mopped up all the egg yolk left in the plate.

16 Nov - Wendy's, Gilford NH

A quick informal bite to eat. I tried the Baconator with a large upsize. The burger was similar to a double quarter pounder with bacon. Quite heavy with no salads. I much prefer the Dave's Double which I had on a previous trip.

16 Nov - Fun Spot, Laconia NH

A 3ish hour drive from MA and CB and I were at the world's largest arcade. We grabbed a pizza with onion and capsicum from there too which offered 10 bonus tokens.

The pizza was decent. A little soggy in the middle but the crust was crisp and tasty enough.

15 Nov - Charley's Grilled Subs, Emerald Square Mall MA

A regular sized Philly Cheese Steak, unadulterated. Mmmm, delish.

13 Nov - New York Deli, Feneuil Mall MA

I originally wanted a Phili Cheesesteak but that operator said their meat was frozen. I went to this vendor instead and had a chili cheese dog.

The dog was OK but not the best. The sausage didn't have any snap.

13 Nov - Red Apple Farms, Boston Public Market MA

CB and I shared 6 mini apple cider donuts. These were like cinnamon donuts but with a slight hint of apple flavour. Quite nice.

13 Nov - Hei La Moon, Boston MA

Lunch was dim sum at Hei La Moon in Chinatown. The food was decent and tasty.
