14 Oct - Picante Street Kitchen, Busselton Farmers Market

CB wanted to stop by Busselton jetty and the farmers market was set up nearby. We had breakfast at this food truck which served quesadillas. I went for the breakfast quesadilla which had bacon and eggs, CB had the veggie option.

While the breakfast one that i had was tasty enough, i think the veg one was better with sweet potato and chick peas.

13 Oct - Simmos Icecream, Dunsborough

A roasted macadamia icecream cone. The icecream was tasty with a caramel swirl rubbing through the icecream with macadamia bits throughout. The gardens were nice with green lawns and childrens play equipment, along with mini golf to the side.

13 Oct - Dunsborough Bakery, Dunsborough

A chicken and veg pie. This had a puff pastry lid and was even hotter liquid lava than breakfast. It had a decent amount of veg in it but was too hot to eat immediately.

13 Oct - Deckchair Cafe, Augusta

A morning 100 odd km drive down twisty Caves Road ended up with breakfast in Augusta. I had the bacon and egg wrap which also had spinach and hollandaise. It was molten lava when it first came out but hit the spot, along with the coffee made from Yahava beans.

12 Oct - Groper's Fish and Chips, Busselton

A lazy dinner near accommodation. CB and i had the seafood basket for two. Everything was cooked well, although some of the chips had a weird texture to them and there wasn't enough chicken salt. But the portion was large enough that CB didn't finish her fish and there were some leftover chips.

12 Oct - Best In The West Bakery, Bunbury

A steak and mushroom pie, sausage roll and custard cream eclair. The pie was my favourite out of them all.

6 Oct - The Hen, Henley Brook

A starter of fish tacos and a chicken Caesar salad. The tacos were a little dry and bland, with the majority of flavour coming from the coriander.

I was forewarned about the Caesar dressing lacking punch and eating the leaves alone, I agree. Eating everything together was tasty enough though.
