13 Nov - Bagel Breakfast

This morning's breakfast before driving to Boston was 1.5 onion bagels with cream cheese. The bagels were supermarket bought from Walmart.

12 Nov - Bacon Fest

3 pounds of Oscar Mayer hardwood smoked bacon with 1 pound Jalapeño bacon with eggs fried in bacon drippings.

Cooking bacon outside in refrigerator temperatures was interesting.

The jalapeño bacon was quite spicy bit taste wise was ho hum.

Next round is 1 pound maple and 1 pound hickory.

11 Nov - Friendly's, Milford MA

I originally ordered the honey mustard chicken sandwich but ended up with a melt instead. It was essentially the same with different bread and no salad. The sandwich was tasty although heavy with the sweet BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. The chips were nice and crisp.

As part of the meal deal, a sundae was included. I went for a scoop of the 'nut over caramel' flavour topped with kit kats.

10 Nov - Chili's, Bellingham MA

A full rack of honey chipotle ribs. They were a little dry but smokey and had a little zing. The mash was well seasoned and had decent texture. The broccoli was broccoli.

10 Nov - Grumpy's Restaurant & Pub, Bellingham MA

I went for the Grumpy Burger which was "Our absolute 'best burger' comes with crisp bacon, aged cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and a fried egg." I also had the optional lettuce, tomato and onion, with half onion rings and half fries.

The burger was a little hard to eat but went down well. The onion rings were decent too but the fries once cold was so so.

9 Nov - McDonald's, Dubai Airport

What does one do when traveling? Eat maccas of course, trying the regional options. I had a McRoyale which ended up being a Whopper equivalent.

Gotta try the mushroom burger in the way back.

8 Nov - KFC, Mirrabooka

A 3 piece meal of junk food before nearly 30 hours of travel. Probably not the best of ideas but the cravings hit hard.
