Today we went to Kailis in Leederville for ATAB's birthday.
CB and I shared starters. It was Octopus Le Grec. The octopus was wonderfully soft, the tastes were OK, and the funnel which was included was superb.
For mains, I decided to have the NZ Flounder. It was a beautifully grilled fish, with minimal bones. The salad was also good. I don't think I'd have it again though, there are other things I'd like to try on the menu.

What's this "funnel" that was included with your octopus? Was it pureed octopussy? Did you have to pour the octopus into your mouth using the funnel? I don't get it...
Oh, I get it now. The funnel on the octopussy's noggin. The sipho. ok, alright, it all makes sense now....
