11 Mar - Subway

For lunch today, I went for a footlong Ham sub on Italian Herb and Cheese. I haven't had Subway for quite awhile, but it hasn't changed since the last time I had it, except for pricing. It's almost at Singapore prices! (well not quite)...

3 and 4 Mar - Ning Kwong

Yesterday was Dad's birthday, so to "celebrate", we had takeaway from the local Chinese establishment. Mum cooked a vegie dish and rice, and we ordered:
  • 2 x Szechuan Beef
  • 2 x Crispy Skin Chicken
  • 2 x Ginger and Spring Onion Prawns
  • 2 x Pork Ribs (Sweet and Sour I believe)
  • 1 x Duck in Plum Sauce
  • 1 x Seafood and Bean Curd Claypot

We also received complimentary prawn crackers, which were a mix of fresh and stale.

I forgot to take a picture, we were all starving and as soon as the food arrived, we starting chowing down. It was pretty good, typical Westernized Chinese food, and I felt thirsty and a bit sick (from all the fat) afterwards.

For lunch today, CB and I are sharing some Szechuan Chicken which we also ordered yesterday. Not sure if I prefer the beef or chicken, they are pretty much the same...

1 Mar - Jamaica Blue, Morley

On Saturday, CB and I had breakfast at Jamaica Blue, whilst killing time, waiting for her car to be serviced. I went for a deluxe breakfast, Poached Eggs and toast, with some Bacon. I also had an Iced Coffee.

The breakfast wasn't bad. The toast was huge and I was actually struggling to finish my meal. The Iced Coffee was good, a big scoop of icecream and coffee was a decent strength. No ice in it (didn't bother me) though.

We were originally going to go to Dome, but they didn't take Visa. I'd go back to Jamaica Blue if we had breakfast at the Galleria again. Definitely beats Aroma and the other cafe near Donut King.
