28 Feb - McDonalds, Morley

I had an Ent Book Voucher so I redeemed 2 Big Macs whilst CB ordered a McChicken Meal. So I ended up wolfing down 2 Big Macs and sharing some chips. I had CB's drink as she also had a GJ's coffee. As per my last post about 2 Whoppers, I felt ill afterwards.. note to self, no more 2 burger deals, or three piece feeds...

21 Feb - Terrazza Cafe, Morley

Last night, my sister celebrated her birthday at Terrazza Cafe in Morley. It has been quite awhile since I last ate there, as the last few occasions of eating there were not very good and it had been put on the veto list.

We arrived quite early and ordered drinks whilst waiting for the others to arrive. I had the iced coffee, which was quite good after all the icecream was mixed in.

I started off with some bruschetta. I was that hungry that I practically wolfed it down. It was pretty good, with the bread being quite garlicky.

CB and I also shared some fries with our main, however it came out during entrees.

For my main, I went for the Chicken Caesar Salad. Whilst the price has gone up and the serving has gotten smaller, it still was the same good old "dude". Probably a good thing it wasn't as big as before, because I was struggling by the end of it.

I think the place has had a change of staff/management and it is definitely better than it used to be. Whilst I'm not itching to go back (they are no longer in the Entertainment Book too), I wouldn't object to it, especially to have the Terrazza Burger atleast one more time...

20 Feb - Mikazuki Sushi, Cockburn Gateway

Not wanting to have karaage two weeks in a row, today I had the teriyaki chicken. Whilst a slightly leaner option, it didn't have the deliciousness that the karaage had, most likely because there was none of that fatty Japanese mayonaise.

13 Feb - Mikazuki Sushi, Cockburn Gateway

In the mood for some Japanese, I opted for the tori karaage meal. Whilst not as good as Jaws, it still hit the spot.

7 Feb - KFC Mirabooka

Finally, a KFC with some decent service! A warm genuine greeting, a smiling face, and an apology when CB's burger was causing the wait. I went for a 3 piece feed, all Hot and Spicy of course. I ended up with 2 breasty bits and a drumstick. Whilst not my favourite (I'm a thigh man when it comes to chicken) pieces, I have no complaints. Even though I finished it, I felt wrong afterwards. Should definitely go for a 2 piece feed next time instead.

6 Feb - Mikazuki Sushi, Cockburn Gateway

I had just over $7 in a my wallet and I didn't want to take out any more. I walked past Subway, saw the line and said "F*@& THAT". So my next place to look was the Japanese stall at the food court.

I went for the mixed set for $6.50 I think. It consisted of California Roll, Tuna Roll, Teriyaki Chicken Roll and Katsu Chicken Roll. I enjoyed all except for the California Roll, which I thought was a little bland.
