29 Oct - Hungry Jacks, Malaga

Lunch on the run today. I was quite hungry so the Whopper was wolfed down pretty quickly. The vanilla shake tipped me over the edge though and I felt a little bleh afterwards.

22 Oct - McDonalds, Malaga

A snack on the way home after dinner. Shared 6 nuggets and chips and had my own strawberry sundae.

22 Oct - Deen Street BBQ, Northbridge

My birthday this year was at Deen St BBQ. To start off, CB and I shared some chicken wings and jalapeño poppers. The poppers had some bite and a crisp batter.

As a main, I had the chili dog and the po boy. The chili dog sausage had decent snap but I didn't read the menu properly and was expecting con carne. The po boy was quite good with brisket and a crunchy slaw.

16 Oct - Villa da Vinci, Ballajura

Dinner last night was at Villa da Vinci for CB's Mum's birthday. I opted for the lamb shank special which had an option for one or two shanks. This was $30 so still reasonably priced.

The meat was falling off the bone and the sauce was quite tasty. The mash was creamy and well seasoned. Overall I enjoyed it.

Lunch today was for Ants' birthday. I had the the fish and chips, which wasn't bad. The chips were tasty, fish decent enough. The onion in the salad had bite. It wasn't the biggest lunch but I wasn't hungry afterwards.
