Today, I had dim sum at Regal on Roe with some of CB's work friends. This place looked a little more upmarket then our normal dim sum destination Welcome Inn, and the service probably was better too. But so were the prices.
All the dim sum staples were there and eaten, char siu bao, chicken feet, siew mai, pork spare ribs etc etc. The squid was dusted with salt and five spice, and bigger than Welcome Inn, I like both to be honest. I also tried egg tarts here instead of having sago, the pastry being lovely and flakey, the custard not being very sweet.
Would I go back? I wouldn't say no if anyone suggested it, but with most of the same food available at Welcome Inn and cheaper, that'd probably be my pick.
