29 July - KFC (again)

Yesterday I went out and got some lunch for CB and I, as she was 'busy' doing her CA assignment. I ended up getting a Family Feast, for two hahaha. 10 pieces of Hot and Spicy, large chips, large potato and gravy and coleslaw and a 1.25L of 7Up.

We ended up finishing the potato and gravy and chips, ate most of the coleslaw (I have the rest for lunch today), and ate about 4 pieces of chicken. Mum had 1, and the other 5 are going to go into a porridge pot (YUM!).

I finished the 7Up whilst rocking out and smashing Misirilou on Guitar Hero 2 (well not smashed, I got 3 stars and barely passed, but it's bloody hard!!!). Thirst work heheheh...

23 July - Fujimore

Fujimore is probably the number one place for Japanese food at our office. I wouldn't say it's the best Japanese that I've ever eaten, but for the money, it's a decent feed, and the food is very consistent.

20 July - Globe, Mt Lawley

On Friday night, we went out for some coffee and cake. Since we wished to utilise the book, we decided upon Globe, on Beaufort Street in Mt Lawley.
I opted for a Rhubarb crumble and an Iced Chocolate. The Iced Chocolate was ok I guess, and the Rhubarb crumble was pretty good. I made the mistake of eating my icecream first as it was melting. When I got to the rhubarb, man was that sour!

20 July - Nenem's Turkish Gozleme, Harbour Town

I had discovered this place whilst walking around Harbour Town on my lunch break with a workmate, and today, we finally decided to have a try. I chose the beef Gozleme, which had beef, onions, spinach and cheese.

Whilst it was tasty, it could've done with a bit more filling (or salt), and it was a bit on the small side. I probably won't have it again at Harbour Town, opting for a more filling (and salty) kebab instead, for nearly the same outlay.

7 July - KFC

On Saturday, CB and I were in Morley and decided to grab some lunch. After weighing up all the options, we decided to go the ultra greasy KFC. I opted in for a 3 piece feed, all Hot and Spicy, with a 7UP. I felt I got a bit jipped in my chicken piece selection, a wing, a drumstick and some small breast bit.
The food was typical KFC fare .. great to start off with and feeling sick after finishing.

1 July - Terrazza Nedlands

Since CB wanted to go into the city to pick up her work stuff, we decided to head out for lunch. Not really feeling like japanese (if we went, we would've bumped into Arneeah and Carlee-ah again), we decided to try Terrazza in Nedlands (since Morley had been declared vito territory).

When we got there, it was pretty dead, however as we were eating, the place filled up a bit. I went for the Terrazza Burger along with an Iced Coffee. CB had the Vege Foccaccia with some chicken and a side of chips.

The food was pretty good, the Iced Coffee was one of the better I've had of late, and the Terrazza Burger wasn't too shabby. The chips were typical Terrazza fare, and something that I actually miss a bit. I don't know what is put on the chips but they have a certain texture that nobody else seems to have.

After polishing off my plate and about half of CBs chips, we both rolled out and headed into the city.

30 June - Gianni's

For dinner, we all headed out to Gianni's in Mt Hawthorn as it was Ah-Stan's birthday. The tables were huge and we jokingly mentioned the two extreme crampedness at 2 Fat Indians.

We were given an option of a $25 "buffet", where a selection of dishes would be served instead of us picking from the ala-carte menu. This was a good thing for me as I was undecided in what to have, and I tend to regret my decisions once I see other people's plates.

In the end there was quite a lot of food, but we all managed to finish it (apart from Ang, as she did not take part). The goulash was quite tasty and the vegetarian spicy relish stuff was great (tasty and enough power to knock your head off). The burek had a crispy light pastry and the meats were good, although slightly on the salty side. The iced coffee was OK, but probably not worth the $5.50 price tag.

30th June - McDonalds

The old man bought me lunch as I drove Mum out to the vet this morning. It was basically a choice of McD's and Chooks (two fine establishments near the local shopping centre). It was typical McD's fare, although a little cold and stale as it made the trip back on a bike.
