27 Dec - Fast Eddys, Midland Gate
CB and I went shopping and I wanted to grab lunch on credit, so I decided to grab a burger from Fast Eddys. Turned out that their EFTPOS was broken, so I had to withdraw cash anyway. By that time, I felt like a burger, so I still ordered from Fast Eddys.
I ordered a Cop The Lot burger only and waited 5-10 minutes for it to arrive. It was good, and a lot cheaper than eating in. You pay $7 more for chips and service (which doesn't count, so really $7 for chips).
20 Dec - Margaret River Chocolate Factory, West Swan
After golf, we had a quick pitstop at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory, just down the road from Mash Brewery / Supa Golf. Upon arrival, I helped myself to several handfuls of the button milk chocolate. Yum, it was good, but melted in my hands!
When it was time to order, I went for something containing chocolate. Whilst the chocolate sundae was good, the texture and silkiness of the chocolate was non existent due to the cold icecream.

20 Dec - Mash Brasserie/Brewery, Henley Brook
Before playing 9 holes at Supa Golf, we stopped at Mash Brasserie / Brewery for lunch. I went for the Open MSA Scotch Steak Sandwich, which contains: Balsamic Onions, Capel Cheddar, Rocket, Garlic Aioli, House Made Mild Spicy Tomato Sauce, and Beer Battered Chips taken from their menu.
This went down quite well, and I could've eaten more, but it probably was just the right amount before golf. The beef was tender, the chips were crispy, and the tomato sauce was tasty and savoury.
The service was a little hit and miss in terms of attentiveness, but food was quick to come out, and plates were cleared quickly. I wouldn't mind coming back for another feed and golf, maybe next time for putt putt.

19 Dec - Cafe Nocello, Success
The guys at work wanted to try the Italian joint to finish off the year. Having a look at the menu, I went for the 'Con Tutti' pizza, which was a pizza with all toppings. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either.
Plus, water was charged at $5 per bottle and their EFTPOS wasn't working, so I missed out on 200 over points.
12 Dec - Subway, Cockburn Gateway
So last week, I felt like Subway, to find a large queue. This week was a different story. The line was short, so I went for a Subway Melt, on Italian Herb bread, with cheddar cheese.
It was normal Subway fare.. although the service wasn't that great. I'm getting a bit scared of Cockburn Gateway food, so I guess the Subway is something a bit different...

6 Nov - Red Rooster, Morley
I used to think that the Classic Roast/Chicken Dinner from Red Rooster/Chicken Treat looked pretty good. I mean, who doesn't like roast chicken, roast potato & pumpkin, peas and gravy? I certainly do. However, when I finally got around to having it, I was quite disappointed. They should've called it "Salty gloop mess", because that's what it was. Salty chicken with salty gravy, with crummy potato, tasteless pumpkin and bland peas.
5 Nov - Hung Kee BBQ, Northbridge
I had suggested to CB to have dinner at Good Fortune tonight, but when we arrived, we noticed it was shut! They had decided to close for a month before the xmas rush! Slightly hungry and in the mood for Cantonese BBQ goodness, we walked down William St for another BBQ house.
Not even 5 minutes down the road was Hung Kee BBQ. Upon sitting down, a bowl of soup was put down, similar to one my Mum makes, consisting of some carrot, vegie (mum calls it sour vegetables, I don't know the name) and pork. Whilst not as good as Mum's (hers has dried scallops, a lot more pork meat .. yum!), it was still good to drink. I had it all as CB doesn't eat pork.
I placed my order of roast pork and rice, and within 2 or 3 minutes, I had been served. Whilst the place wasn't that busy, and the meat is precooked, I was still impressed. The pork was tender and had good fatty bits, although a little salty. The chilli had quite a good kick.
Overall, I like this place. Who doesn't like "free" soup? Whilst I wouldn't necessarily drive all the way to have it (Golden King BBQ in Morley is closer), it would be a toss between here and Good Fortune whenever I'm in Northbridge. Good Fortune does have really really good char siu though..... too many choices!

5 Dec - Mikazuki Sushi, Cockburn Gateway
1 Dec - McDonalds, Spearwood
I forgot my lunch this morning, so I had to grab something from around work. Not wanting to drive all the way to Cockburn Gateway, it only left Spearwood. Since I had an Ent Book voucher, I decided on "Mickey D's".
The verdict? Well, 2 Big Macs didn't give that sickly feeling that 2 Whoppers gave me not long ago. The burgers more resembled slop as they no longer are made with collars and just move about in the box. Hungry Jacks burgers are at least wrapped, so they don't fall apart.
