This particular roll has pork belly, carrot, cucumber, coriander and pate. The carrot and cucumber were pickled and contrasted well against the fatty pork and what I presume was butter/margarine. Wikipedia says that Bánh Mì Thịt can also contain headcheese, but it wasn't listed on the packet. There was also some chilli which packed a bit of a punch and was thoroughly enjoyed. At $4, they are cheaper and tastier than Subway. The coriander wasn't overpowering which was good. The butter/margarine/possible headcheese was also oozing a bit, and if I was able to get one freshly made up, would request a little less.
Turns out these are made locally, Girrawheen in fact. On the packaging, it says they are open 7 days a week, 5AM - 4PM. Wonder if I can get them cheaper from Girrawheen instead?

You would drive "all the way" to Girrawheen to get it as bit cheaper?
