I opted for some fried char kway teow for takeaway dinner last night. I was served by a lady who didn't know what a receipt was. The noodles had decent heat, and smelt like they had wok hei, but when reheated, it didn't have any. Also, there were no lup cheong which I think is a prerequisite for this dish.

Ah, perhaps some Mandarin lessons or a phone app would have helped. Unless she wasn't Chinese.
