Nanajyoutatsu, Taipei
Dinner tonight was at a place close to the hotel. It was a Korean/Japanese BBQ place by the name of Nanajyoutatsu. We chose a set menu option, which totalled $7610 TWD including beers, making it about $35 AUD a head. Meat was cooked over proper charcoal grills. We ended up rolling out of the place after eating:
Local Taiwan beer.
Kimchi
Tuna salad. Dressed in a Japanese style dressing with corn and tuna. Quite nice actually.
Some cut of premarinated pork.
Some cut of sweetened pork.
Vegetables: shiitake mushrooms, capsicum, corn and onions.
Beef. Not sure of the cut but had decent marbling.
Another cut of beef with marbling.
Prawns and scallops.
Pork belly I think. Well seasoned.
Rice.
Marinated chicken thigh.
Enoki mushrooms.
Wagyu beef strips.
Sardines.
Kimchi soup (too sour for my liking).
Some sweet cuttlefish or fish stuff. Wasn’t bad when lightly charred on both sides.
Some cut of beef which was marinating upright in a glass. It wasn’t as tender as the Wagyu.
A sweet potato and cheese dish (a bit weird).
Broccoli and cheese.
The meal was finished off with a gooey rice cake thing, dipped into evaporated milk and peanuts.

Very well worth the money spent, but could have done with an extra mouth or two to help out!
